eBay VS Amazon
I often get asked about the differences between eBay and Amazon, and which is the better platform. Truth is, they are quite different from each other, and neither is “better” than the other. What they do have is usually a very different customer base, with little crossover – the highest figures I’ve heard of is 10% of buyers regularly using both platforms, although I suspect it’s closer to 20%.
This is still very low, meaning that in an ideal world businesses need a presence on both – and more venues, as there will be similar patterns on other sites.
